On 4th November 2006 I married Lucy Angeline BIDDLE at St Mary the Virgin, Henbury, Bristol. Lucy was born in 1975 in Reading, Berkshire and is the daughter of Peter BIDDLE and Sheila Angeline BARTLETT. My best man was my friend David SIMPSON and Lucy's bridemaids were her niece Emily BIDDLE and her cousin's daughter Megan GRAY. Our reception was held at Alveston House Hotel, Thornbury, South Gloucestershire. We were delighted that most of Lucy's family were able to attend the wedding as they all live some distance from Bristol. Lucy's mother is one of ten children of George James BARTLETT and Phyllis Violet LEWIS so Lucy has lots of aunts, uncles and cousins!
After spending our wedding night at Alveston House we headed off to Ston Easton Park, Somerset where we were thrilled to discover that we had been upgraded to the Master suite. The rest of our honeymoon was spent on a trip around England, stopping off in Chester, Liverpool, Blackpool, Windermere, Hadrian's Wall, Durham, Lincoln, Southwold and Great Dunmow. En route we visited no less than four cathedrals and were also able to have a look around the church in Panfield, Essex where Lucy's late uncle George BARTLETT was the vicar.
