All of the photos on this page come from my own family album, with the exception of the picture of Crediton Parish Church which was provided by RICHARD & GORDON DERRICK. None of these images may be used elsewhere without permission. Descriptions of the National Trust properties on this page are based on information found in "The National Trust Guide" by LYDIA GREEVES & MICHAEL TRINICK, as well as various guidebooks. The description of Chewton Mendip Parish Church is based in part on "England's Thousand Best Churches" by SIMON JENKINS.
